Luís portrait against a church bell.

I’m an embodied sexuality practitioner certified by the SOMA Intimacy Institute and a PhD student in Human Sexuality at the University of Porto.

I’m not offering sessions or personal accompaniment at the moment… but I’m open to educational and research collaborations.

My path

I’ve always been a sexuality and relationship nerd. My mum still tells the story of how I corrected my primary school teacher when she used metaphors to explain “how babies are made”.

My path brings together education, human rights, participation, and somatic approaches to intimacy and sexuality. I’m interested in how we learn through our bodies and relationships, and how consent, pleasure, and curiosity can be part of that learning.

My doctorate brings these interests into conversation. My research is still taking shape, with a particular interest in participatory and embodied approaches to sexuality education.

I am a member of the Association of Somatic & Integrative Sexologists and I follow their Ethical Code of Practice.

Where I’m coming from

I’m Portuguese, white, cisgender, “homoflexible”, and married. I was a gender non-conforming child, grew up in the suburbs of Lisbon, and now live in Redondo, Alentejo.

I share this because my experiences shape how I see the world — and what I still have to learn.

Collaborations

I welcome conversations about research, educational projects, writing, and shared inquiry around sexuality, embodiment, consent, intimacy, and participation.

My approach is grounded in curiosity, respect for individuality and sense of belonging, and a trauma-sensitive, pleasure-positive understanding of sexuality.

If you are curious about the practices that shape my training in somatics and sexuality, you welcome to know a sample here:
